Reinforcing EO

Ok so the topic of the day is strengthening our guild. I noticed Godz of War became much stronger since we last met them. Anybody have any ideas on how we can do this? I thought I'd break the ice cuz Karra is a lil shy. Lol Very Happy

The best way would be to poach from Vanguard level/Weak Alpha guilds and see if their strong members would like to switch.

In order to do that. Someone would have to write up a well thought out message to potential recruits. Let them know that you put some time & effort trying to recruit them. If your persuasion skills are pretty good. I'd say go for it! & Good luck!

I'm pretty good at poaching. Most of the members in YO I poached from other guilds. However, poaching from Alpha guilds may prove a little difficult. I saved one of my messages, it can be modified to suit the target.

Will need to be changed quite a bit in order to suit EO's needs. This message is pretty generic as it stands.

"I was wondering if you were happy with your current guild. YO is recruiting and looking for people who want to be strong PvPers and can be active in most battles. We participate in 4 battles a day, plus GvG for Facebook accounts. Battle times are 3am, 9am, 3pm, and 9pm PST. We are a great, if not crude, community focused on becoming strong PvPers, not simply monster hunters. We are the sister guild to Elite Owls and feed into that guild. We have room, if this is what you are looking for in Castle Age."

When I find time, I'll come up with something specific and post it here.

How about:

"Hi, I hope you can spare a few seconds to read this message and consider our offer. We are the Elite Owls. Our focus has always been on building a strong community within our guild. We have achieved this and have one of the most active guild collectives in castle age. We are now look to build on our already considerable strength. In order to do this we need more active high level and strong build members. From our research you appear to fit the bill! Please contact us either way, new allies are always welcome."

Your message asks for too much permission. I believe a good message to be straight to the point. Need to let them know why we are sending them a PM and what we can offer.

"We are sending you this private message because we were impressed. Elite Owls is always looking for new, active players to join our ranks. We have a strong community of players and value each one of our members. Many players become complacent in the guild they join because they do not know what any other guild can offer.
